Highly flexible and hygienic design

Coating is an essential stage in food processing as it impacts the product appearance, texture, structure and taste features. The visual aspect is particularly important as it is the first thing the consumer sees when he opens the box. Clextral coating system makes it possible to give a visual aspect and the desired taste to the finished product.

Clextral sweet coating system has been specially developed for expanded breakfast cereals and flakes applications. Different types of sweet coatings are possible: shiny, frosty and dull.

Advantages of Clextral coating system

  • Fully automated system weighs and blends the ingredients according to the preset recipes. Easy to master physical characteristics: viscosity syrup temperature and temperature conditions of the final product.
  • Properly sized equipment for optimum coating (residence time, coating ratio…)
  • Syrup spraying evenly distributed throughout the coating zone with the ability to vary the number of the nozzles according to the production throughput.
  • Easy to clean thanks to the hygienic design and the CIP (Cleaning In Place)

Clextral sweet coating system is composed of 3 parts

The sweet coating system is available in our research center for semi-industrial trials to improve recipes or develop new recipes.

Ranges

Depending of the product output the size of equipment will change:

  • 4 sizes from 350kg/h to 1900kg/h of final product (coated 3% moisture)
  • Variable drum size and syrup tanks volume
  • Options for automatic powder feeding (syrup preparation)
