HMEC – Extrusion of Plant-Based meats short course

Clextral will sponsor the day 2 of the HMEC – Extrusion of Plant-Based meats short course, on November 18-19, 2021. This event is organized by the FIE in conjunction with Foodstream and will be presented online via live stream from Australia. It will be streamed from 6:00am – 2:00pm ICT (Thailand time) – 10:00am – 6:00pm AEDT. 

This short course will be about the HMEC (High Moisture Extrusion Cooking) process which is used to transform functional protein ingredients into meat-like textures called « meat analogues ». This is possible thanks to the extrusion technology. Clextral experts will make a presentation about their expertise on fibrated products and a practical session will be live-streamed.
