Scientific and technological cooperation with R&D organizations
Scientific and technological cooperation with R&D organizations is an integral part of our development policy, in order to maintain long-term relationships with the groups investing in the company’s technologies.
Our R&D partnership policy consists of 2 complementary axes:
- a scientific axis, to support the foundations of its expertise in physico-chemical and engineering sciences - a proximity partnership;
- an applied axis, whose objective is to broaden the comprehensive technological offer by developing new applications - an international partnership knowing no borders.

For example, CLEXTRAL is currently investing heavily in the Competitiveness Clusters recently established by the French government around R&D excellence centres to prepare for the technological future in the medium and long term.
Dedicated teams are involved in cooperative programmes in the following strategic fields: advanced wear materials, reactive extrusion and green chemistry, intensification of processes, agrimaterials.
On the international scene, CLEXTRAL is highly involved in co-development programmes designed to address human issues, e.g.: nutrition and health in the food sector; safety and minimisation of the environmental impact in the non-food sectors.
