Last July Clextral Inc hosted its annual Extrusion Spanish Short Course in Tampa. 33 participants came from Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, USA and Venezuela.
Lectures topics covered grain selection, processing considerations, product quality, further processing, and extrusion trends. Participants were also able to attend demonstrations of multigrain chips, croutons, and expanded snacks production.
